What is NinerNET

NinerNET is the term used to refer to your University user name and the password you create through PW Manager. This user name and password pair is used to log in to 49er Express, e-mail, Novell, etc. Since so many of UNC Charlotte’s online systems use this login combination, referring to it by a standardized name makes things much simpler.

NinerNET account = User Name + Password

User Name	Find your user name with the user name lookup tool
Password	Students – your temporary password is your UNC Charlotte ID# + date of birth (MMDDYY) Faculty and Staff – a temorary password is provided to you when an account is created.
PW Manager	Once you know your user name and the initial password, you're ready to log in to PW Manager. Be sure you choose the option to Change Password. More information about PW Manager for Students and Faculty and Staff
